We celebrated a weekend of fun, family, friendship, community, health and more! We welcomed the 2014 FIFA World Cup Champions – the Honduras Legends to the island! We kicked off the event with a Beach Cleanup (even though it rained! We made it happen!) and registered all our amazing volunteers and guests! Thank you to everyone who were a part of this event, a special huge thank you to the Roatan Reef Runners, Miss Bertha from Diamond Rock School, and Chelle’s Roatan for your incredible efforts and being an integral part of this event happening! We couldn’t have done it without you!!

ONG – Healthy Goals Weekend Recap
What an unforgettable weekend! None of this would have been possible without each and every one of you. The love, energy, and dedication you poured into this event made it truly special — we are beyond grateful for all your helping hands! 💙 Thank you to all the sponsors of the ONG and the many, many volunteers including Roatan Reef Runners and Miss Bertha from Diamond Rock School who were an integral part of this event happening!
We kicked off the weekend bright and early with a 5K run, where one incredible runner completed the course in just 18 minutes — unbelievable! Afterward, everyone enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch before heading to the beach for a full day of fun in the sun.
The afternoon was filled with kids’ activities and community laughter — from face painting, seashell painting, potato sack races, tug-o-war, and soccer drills to the exciting $100 dashes for kids of all ages. The joy, smiles, and friendships shared throughout the day were the biggest and brightest takeaways — a true gift we’ll all cherish.
The excitement continued with the Healthy Goals Soccer Event, featuring the Honduras Legends vs. Roatan United at the Diamond Rock Ball Field. Fans arrived early to meet the players, grab autographs, and cheer on their favorite team. The match ended with a thrilling shootout with the Honduras Legends taking the trophy Roatan International Soccer Invitational Cup! 🏆You can spot that trophy at Chelle’s Roatan where the Legends are displaying it!
It was a weekend overflowing with community, connection, and celebration — a reminder of how powerful we are when we come together. Thank you again to all the families, kids, players, and volunteers who made this event such a success. We can’t wait to do it again!
